Mad Cow in US

 As foot and mouth was being discussed, I noticed a story in the St.
Pete Times about a herd of sheep in Vermont seized by the USDA because
some were showing symptoms of mad cow. So while we are isolated from
much of the rest of  the world by water, no country is island when it
comes to the spread of disease.
