Re: Sports Saddles

I had one for a year. I thought it worked well for my horse but was dreadful
for me. it really hurt my hips over more than a short distance. I wouldnt
not recomend it for a person with short legs and a wide horse like mine ( Im
5 foot 1ish and my horse is a very wide cob)!

I also experienced it slipping almost compltly under my horses tummy ( it
didnt go all the way due to the breastplate) and I had a lovely hoof shaped
bruise on my chest for weeks afterwards!

However a good friend bought one of Geri Rini and really loves it she
recomends both the saddle and the vendor. My friend is taller about 5 foot 6
or 7 and rides a slim 14.2 hh Arab , she also felt it would prove difficult
on a wide horse. the suede ones seem to last less well than leather.

regards

Tamara
