     The trace clip we used just clipped the
throatlatch, bottom side of the neck, beneath the
front legs, the belly and up the sides a couple of
inches. We lived in MA at the time and did alot of fox
hunts late fall and early spring. Horses were fine
being turned out without blankets but they did have a
shelter to go to if they wanted.
