I just realized something about this whole spotted arab thing...sorry, I'm a 
little slow.  My friend Carol has a purebred arab mare.  She is bay and has 
little white patches all over her back.  They look like snowflakes.  This 
isn't a saddle thing, she just has them.  She isn't an endurance horse ( I 
think the original question asked about horses competing in endurance)....she 
is very very beautiful....and probably could do endurance..she just doesn't...
