Since there's been a fair amount of discussion about chips on Ridecamp,
you may want to forward this information to the list.

The National Microchip Horse Registry has disappeared off the face of
the Earth. So if you thought you were registered with them, time to
reajust.

We bought AVID chips from the NMHR five years ago. AVID themselves have
a tracking program. Apparently they managed to recover some of the NMHR
database. You can contact them to figure out where you stand. If you are
not in their database they will include you for a reduced price of $5
per animal.

Their number is 1-800-336-AVID select the option that directs you to
their Pettrac department.
