Stirrups & flaps
I just read Truman's post on his saddle experience and I wanted
to relay to you that I tried the same saddle that he is riding on
and I didn't like it because the stirrup bars were too forward
and rubbed the inside of my thighs. Having the stirrup bars
too forward puts you in an a "chair seat" which plays havoc
when you want to ride on the flat and maintain a balanced,
centered seat. I found myself struggling with these two issues.
I think that if you had longer legs, this might not be as bad;
but I have real short legs and the problem is accentuated.
Good luck! You have some very intelligent questions to ask.
Kathy, again.
