That's the No Sweat Vent Pad probably.  I've used mine in very hot rides, 50
and 75 mile, for a couple of years, as well as cold rides, and wouldn't be
without it.  Even my horse with thin sensitive skin likes it. It keeps a
nice air flow between skin and fleece pad--another advantage is you can get
by with less expensive synthetic fleece pads rather than the wool.
