Susan, From what I can see, horses are involved with the rails to trails if
the
horse people are involved.  If you aren't in the starting gate, then you can't
make the race!   That is why it is so important for the endurance community to
become involved with rails to trails.  Some of these trails will make great
race sites.  So again, if you have a rails to trails program in your state,
please get involved.  Jerry
