The rings are not for a curb chain. The small rings are for the cheekpiece
and the large rings are for the reins. This bit works on poll pressure,
sort of the same idea as a elevator, but a lot milder as it dosn't have as
much lift. It is also legal for dressage. I don't know where to get one
with a waterford mouthpiece, but french and single jointed mouthpieces are
sold in Dover Saddlery 1-800-989-1500
