I also have a mare that doesn't get diarrhea, but if
and when she is on only alfalfa hay, instead of mostly
grass and/or a grass alfalfa mix, will have loose foul
smelling feces.  Anyone know what this might be?  I am
thinking she might have overactive little gut microbes
that love the protein in alfalfa.  Would she benefit
from yoghurt?
