juniors

We recently discussed juniors riding alone, etc.  If they ride unsponsored,
then they have to ride in their weight division is what I understood.  Does
that mean then that they are not considered in BC judging (top ten) if they
ride as a junior?  Hadn't really thought about it before but my daughter is
curious.  Thanks for any insight.
