I ALWAYS wear a helmet.  Haven't had it save my noggin,
sure saved my eyes many times from being poked out going under low
branches that I don't see!

I was out riding with a friend who is a therapeutic riding
school instructor that has a vested interest in safety.
We got into a heated discussion with someone about how
she felt that helmets "looked stupid."  Well, the very
next day this someone received a concussion while riding.  She still
doesn't wear a helmet, but her husband started wearing one!

There is another guy I know who doesn't wear helmets.  He also
sustained a concussion while riding.  He also still doesn't
wear one.

I guess there are just a lot of hard headed people in this world....
