Well, yes...but what I actually meant was the bouts of high heart rate
times would increase in time as the horse becomes more conditioned? If you
started at half a minute, would you gradually increase that amount of time
or just leave the maximum intense periods (that you have, of course, worked
up to with lots of longer, slower work) at about a minute? Do you gain
anything by longer stretches -- or will you reap benefits with just the
brief periods of intense work?
