And 100 mile (flat) races are *another* aspect to "Endurance",
offering the participants (horse and rider) something much
different than what CTR, LD and 7 mph 100 mile Endurance
Rides or Multi- day rides offer.
IMO, this non-acceptance of 50,75, 100 mile flat racing is no
different than the current non-acceptance 100 mile "Endurance"
people have with "LD ers", (especially fast LDers)
, and the LDers/Endurance people
have with CTR people..
(sounds like the food-chain thing).
If you'all didn't want something out of this (completions, miles
BCs) then you wouldn't be there, regardless of the level of competition.
Everyone competing wants to "win" something.
There already is BOTH Endurance Riding and Endurance Racing,
and for now anyway, it looks like it's the terrain that's
deciding which is which.
