I agree with what Angie said about gaining trust and would also offer the
following words of advice....
Be sure when you approach the farmers that you don't appear to be ganged up
on them.
One on one meetings, at least initially, might be best. And of course this
depends on what your current relationship is with these individuals.
Be sure that you have something to offer in return for this privilege -
checking fences, help haying, etc. and that you will follow through.
There are two good trail seminars coming up.
Try to come to at least one of them
