Lif,
I belong through a local club, it's also pretty show oriented. I don't 
really participate. OCER used to affiliate our rides through them for 
insurance purposes. There have been attempts from time to time for the 
endurance members and show members to work together on things (clinics, info 
booths, etc.) but it really hasn't worked out. This year OCER is getting 
it's own event insurance. If you just need the IAHA membership Maybe your 
"local" club would be happy to just get your $10 as a non-participating 
member? (I think that's what the dues difference here.)
