I think when "members of the organization" read decisions of the board
and "take issue" with them, they are exercising their rights and obligations
which accompany the "cost of admission".
And, if some prefer jackets to lap rugs, that is their perogative.
The board does not always make the right decisions, just the best they
seem able. That, too, is not a crime...just how our system works.
Some "members of the organization" truly don't care about awards. Seems
to me that those who do certainly should be able to voice their
opinions...whether they agree with the board or not.
Seems it's that ol' "tail waggin' the dog" or "dog waggin the tail" thing.
