Have you tried the Sharon Saare saddle? Western type, plenty of room in the 
gullet for a high-withered horse.  And numerous tree widths to choose from.  
We've had them from the very beginning (about 1973 or so).  I've take to 
riding English, but it's still my husband's saddle of choice.  You should be
