Re: RC: Saddle for High-withered Horse
Dawn...
I had the same problem with my guy...downhill, high withers, short
back. I commissioned Steve Gonzalez with SR Saddlery to custom make me
an S.R. Enduro from a mold of Sunny's back. They are about $2000, but
if I had done that to start with, I would have SAVED money on all the
saddles I tried. This is a "western style" saddle. Great saddle...only
complaint is that I would like to see the leathers made of nylon instead
of leather....they stay wet from sweat all the time and I have to
constantly clean and treat them. Steve is at 65535 Cline Falls Road,
Bend, Oregon 97701 and you can reach him at (541) 317-0135.
