Palm Springs area endurance riders???

Hi, I am not sure if this is the place to ask but I will be moving to Palm Springs, California next winter 
and I will be visiting there before Christmas and I was wondering if there were any endurance riders that
live in the area. I would like to get information on any rides in the area or trails. Also it would be nice to have some 
people to be able to talk horse with. I will eventually be bringing my horse out there and may be looking to board too. 
If there is anyone who could help me out I would appreciate it very much. Thanks, Jill.
