5 yr old black gelding for sale

For Sale - 5 yr old Black Arab (Straight Egyptian) gelding, 14.1 hands.
Registered name:  Egyptian Nite, but we call him Fred. :-) Fred was raised
on a very large ranch in WY where he was turned out with other horses and
Angus cattle. He grew up crossing creeks, eating grass,  and climbing rocky
mountains. His feet are large and tough as nails. Fred is a very calm,
non-spooky horse that will make a great endurance horse. He has a
half-brother in Idaho that is a cutting champion and Fred is every bit as
fast on his feet. Fred is currently being conditioned in the mountains
northwest of Denver Colorado. Fred has a very fast walk and a locomotive
trot. His heart rate stays below 100 even when trotting fast and long! He is
very light on the front end and uses his hindquarters nicely. Fred is being
ridden in a halter and lead rope and he stops on a dime! He is living at
8400 ft altitude and conditioning on some very steep trails. He is very
sure-footed and crosses water willingly. He is also very good when taken out
by himself and is not in the least bit herdbound! :-) Fred is a sweetie and
wants an owner that will love on him, and in return, he will give his all.
We are asking $4K for Fred but will give consideration to an endurance home.
