Just another quick note on "cinchy" horses--although this likely represents a 
small minority of cases (so I would certainly "look under every other rock" 
first), hypersensitivity along the trunk CAN be an early sign of EPM, 
followed by the same areas becoming very desensitized as nerve damage 
progresses.
