Same with the Peruvian Pasos. It's required in order to register a
stallion for breeding. The mare and resulting foal also need to be tested
if the breeding is by shipped or frozen semen. I've always opted for the
DNA testing and have my new foals tested routinely, just for the record
(the mares have been tested already).
