Re: Re: encysted strongyles
Heidi,
Actually, the doseage for the Powerpac is slightly higher. A regular tube
of Panacur has 25 grams (times 2 is 50 grams), while a tube of Panacur
Powerpac has 57 grams. Over a five day treatment, your horse recieves 35
grams more with the Powerpac (5 times 7 grams = 35 grams).
American Livestock Supply Inc. www.americanlivestock.com 1-800-356-0700
sells the Panacur Powerpac for $59.82. Single Panacur tubes are $5.50 and
since 10 are needed, the cost would be $55.00. For the extra $4.82, you get
35 grams more!
FYI only,
Karen

Panacur? Has anyone used this and would this be any better?

My understanding is that that is exactly what PowerPac is--just conveniently
packaged for the 2x by 5 day treatment...
