Just getting info from folks on the front line of equine genetic 
research--and from what I understand, so far there aren't any genetic markers 
that would differentiate Arabs from TB's.  And actually, there IS still room 
for error with blood typing--much more so than with DNA.  The Arabs just got 
into parentage verification before the technology was available to do it with 
DNA, so we are now working with less than the most modern technology.  Blood 
typing is pretty good, but don't be surprised if we switch to DNA testing (as 
other breeds are now doing) at some point down the road.
