Re: thumps ? feed?
This is in answer to the questions asked about my horse.
There was blood work done and everything was normal except his white
cell count was high so that was the reason vet thought he has abscesses.
He was on antibiotics for two weeks.
I did have his teeth floated but they were not bad. The previous owner
said that he was wormed regular and I had wormed a week before he
coliced. So his manure showed no worms. He has been on probiotics for 2
mo.
Have you read the article in Trail Blazer Bag o' Bones This really
sounds like this horse.
He was kept on a very low protein diet for a long time and had no fat
added.
I'm just worried about the thumps but when I get him off the high
protein maybe they will stop
