I came across two great endurance prospects today, but of course I was skimming ridecamp before and am not sure of which Lauren was looking for a horse. It is the Lauren who put the deposit down and then lost the horse. Anyway, there is a horse in Washington that is dead broke and is I think second level dressage. Her owner is a dressage judge and her mother is an I level judge. The horse can be ridden and is ridden by small children with no problem. He is around 10-11 I think. He has been ridden by the husband on many many trail rides with large groups. 25 miles or more. The horse has not done endurance but has a whole lot of trail experience The second horse is near Sacramento and is owned by a race trainer. The horse is her personal horse and is sweepstake nominated. He has won bunches on the track and Becky swears if she wanted another horse she would buy him. She says he looks like a grey Rio. Oh yeah, that reminds me, I think I said on Ridecamp a while back that Rio was 14.1. Becky informed me that was a big lie that he is 14.3. Oh well, I am often confused. Anyway, if you want more information about either of these horses, call Becky Hart at 408-997-0814. If I had not already bought a new horse, I would sure be interested in the Washington horse. Was it Lauren VanHorne maybe? Maryben
