Far Ants? Must be a Southern thang. Here in Slower Lower Delaware we gots:
musk rats: thems good eatin'
squirrels: thems good eatin'
'coons: thems good eatin'
chiggers: ya got some nail parlish?
skeeters: nope, that weren't a bird
rednecks: we got lots an' lots ( ain't good eatin')
tax ditches: yep, the whole countie's a swamp, an' ya pay taxes to dig 
ditches to keep from floatin' away
chickens: no kiddin' we gots more "cheekens" than rednecks (thems good eatin' 
if they ain't been on the road too long)'
'durance rides: kin ya drink beer while ya ride?
