I supplement hay and pasture with a pelleted feed esp in winter.  With hot
water on it makes a great sloppy mash.  At the moment I'm using Southern
States 12% Reliance--cheap and convenient.  Since it's so convenient, would
it be useful to feed on the trail?  Easy way to get in water and lytes, but
what possible drawbacks?
