wellll....our old mare in her DAY scored 60s and 65s ove several years in
training through 2nd level(which wa sunintentional - was supposed to be Level
1 Test 2 and 3, got into Level 2 test 1 & 3) . This old mare has a few
hundred mile ssince she tuned 17 and is now 25. Also, our stallion, although
he has not been competed in dressage works at 1st and 2sn level, and has
numerous completions under his girth. Our newest mare, a 14.2 HH Polish mare,
is workign 1st level right now, and will be ready to compete by fall.

Actually, my first horse was a quarter/morgan cross that I bought off a rent
string. He team roped [head or heel] and I showed him western, Becky showed
him English, hunter hack and jumping. When he was about 16 I took him on his
first endurance ride, a 50. There were no 25s then. He did his last race
at age 22 and then Becky used him for lessons. He died at 36 years of age.
Oh yeah, he also did first level dressage. Does this mean my opinion gets to
count?....Maryben
