Fw: Found a horse!

Hi everyone,,
Well I found a horse. In the last place I ever dreamed I'd get a good kids
horse. I always aid I'd never buy a broke horse at a sale. Last weekend I
went with a girl friend to the local horse sale. I really
hate to go there( so depressing), but she had to sell an old gelding ,he had
heaves,  who had not been doing well , she could not afford another horse
unless she sold him. The vet said put him down or
sell him for kill, he'll only suffer, winter would be too had on him with
his heaves. All the extra care wasn't helping anymore. She
asked me to go long for moral support it was very hard for her. Right after
they sold him. We decided to go . ( she was crying and very upset) Just as
we were going
out the door I looked back and in came a boy riding a little  very dark
liver chestnut
mare. She has 4 white socks and a blaze. Very cute, she is so gentle and
trained very well.  She is 1/2 Arab 1/2 paint,
coming 4 years old and 13.3 hands.
I only bid once,  I couldn't believe I got her for $310! Arabs are not
looked upon well here, little do they know what good kids horses they are.
The other two bidders were kill buyers.  Lori said it made her night
bearable to know atlease that little mare has a chance at life because we
were there to sell JT.  She bought JT at the same sales barn 10 years ago!
I'm sure if she hadn't of bought him he would of gone to the killers then,
as her needed allot of extra care and had been abused , so had a chip on his
shoulder and needed a strong rider. He was well known for his rearing at the
gate in  local horse shows around here until she got him ! I told her she
gave him
a good life, but the end would of been the same..
The little mares name is Mia Fiara. Kristine has been riding around the
yard alittle, it's so good to see her smile on the back of that little
