Tried to list a subject header so those that aren't interested can delete
before reading. :)
I have a few horses for sale for a friend of mine in Florida. Margaret
borrowed a few of my settled trotting horses to use in her area Pony
Club and I took on a couple of hers that were for sale to keep the
numbers down in her barn. She's a great friend and I sure don't
mind helping out but I would sure appreciate any help in moving
these two geldings on. We all know that word of mouth sometimes
works much better than any classified advertising. <grin>
Buddy is black registered Tennessee Walking Horse. He's 16+ hands,
just turned 13 years old and is an all-around nice horse. No vices
and current on worming, farrier work and all vaccinations.
His registered name is Ebb's Strokin Motion, he's by Ebb's Mr. Motion
and out of Threat Ebony Doll. Has done some Sheriff's Posse training
with Margaret and did great with everything except the boot
to boot riding for Drill Team. He did ok with that but was not real
thrilled with the close, close contact of strange horses on either side on
him. They ride litterally boot to boot touching on both sides. She's also
done a lot of trail riding with him. His price is $2,000.
The other gelding is Elvis, a non-gaited mule. He's a stout 13.2h, black
with four high white stockings and a real looker. He rides, drives and
packs and has done extensive packing with an outfitter in the west that
did big game hunting trips. Because of his pack experience, he'll tote
anyone down the trail following the horse(s) in front
of him and is easy to pony if that's desired. He'll also take the lead but
is
more comfortable following to be honest. No vices and he's also current on
everything. I don't know his breeding but he's a handsome guy with a
well-formed quarter horse head. Wide forehead and small muzzle. His price
is $1,500.
She also mentioned that she would do a package deal if someone wanted to buy
both. They pasture together now and she really likes the idea of them
staying together if possible.
I'm in Murfreesboro, TN - that's about 26 miles east of Nashville. I can be
reached by phone (615) 907-8702 most weekends and weekday evenings or you
can e-mail me anytime.
Sure appreciate the help! Feel free to send this post around if you think
someone may be interested.
