Debbie - One of the cardinal rules of distance riding is NEVER EVER use new 
equipment on a ride!  If your current pads work, then use them for this 
ride.  If you want to try wool pads, then try them on your conditioning 
rides, not at an event!  I wouldn't use any equipment on a ride that I 
hadn't been using successfully for many, many miles beforehand.  Lif
