Debbie----No need for the "sorry" We're all green to one degree or
another...I sure wouldn't try a different pad...when in doubt..NEVER try
something for the first time on a ride! Maybe after this ride you could get
a wool pad and see how it works for you and your horse on your conditioning
rides..I think it would be a good idea to use electrolytes...Before and
after anyway..You need to start practicing administering them...and getting
accustomed to wearing them all over your hand arms face and neck....;o)If
you haven't gone there already...check out the ride camp archives...and
someone has a list of everything you could possibly ever need to take to an
endurance ride...can't remember who it is...but I'm sure he/she will chime
in here...Have fun!
