You should receive lots of information, but also go to archives (humm how do
you do that?). Anyway, better not to change blankets unless you have enough
time to break it in with yor horse. If you have a couple of weeks, then try
it. One thing to remember at a ride is that trying out something new - new
shoes (horse and you), new blanket, new bridle, new saddle is just better
not done until you have time to try the new thing out while conditioning.
Luck does play a part, but a chance could be good or bad.
