And it seems to me that I've been cautioned in conditioning to TROT up and
WALK down, less stress on the horse's joints. So, until the guy is really
in good shape, we slow down going down, although going up we may be slow
until he's in good shape. And, then, on a really ride, I'm likely to get
off going up to say him from carrying me; but I condition him by having him
carry me up.
