Hi all ride campers in Kansas
This is a notice-- a very important one!!!!
I received a letter from Kanopolis State park on Monday the 16th
In it there is a proposal to raise all fees at the Kansas state parks.
The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks commissioners are having
a meeting Thursday Oct 19th in Garden City Kansas over these proposals.
For the majority the fees are raised $5.00 at the most .
I am mainly concerned about the special events fee.
We ride managers have had to purchase one for $25.
In the year 2001 the commissioners propose to raise this fee to $200.
Ouch!!!!!!!
I do not manage a ride to make money but this would sure make me think
several
times about whether I can afford it.
Soooooo Please write or call your nearest Park superintendent and let
them know how
you feel about this issue!!!!!
We could lose rides !!! (let a lone the new ones being thought of)
