I have a sulphur water well that serves my barn. Had it for years. For the past several months, when I fill my water tank, everything looks fine, but a few hours later, the water has turned milky white. Does anyone know what might be causing this? Is it harmful to my horses? Also, it doesn't do it everytime, just when the sulphur odor seems the worst. We've had a drought this summer. Could the water level in the well be low and just more sulphur coming in and causing this?
