Hi Joan
It was started as a result of the accident at the Tevis ride, but you
are right, it should not be confused with the ride. Perhaps we should
name it Operation Rescue--Stallion Drawing (just realized the hyphen was
needed or it took on a totally different meaning <VBG>). We can even
make it a yearly event if folks want, giving more people a chance to
participate. Not sure if David wants to commit yearly but perhaps other
volunteers? It certainly is for a good cause and it gives folks a chance
to qualify for breedings they otherwise would put on their wish list and
makes everyone feel good at donating for a good cause.
