Depends -- how do you like riding standing up?
3 days after I got my first horse, I was riding double, going fast (not
terribly bright in those days) and the person behind me lost her balance.
Instead of having the courtesy to fall alone she dragged me off too.  Had
never come off before -- had only been riding steadily for a few months -- and
must have blacked out before I left the saddle.  My butt being the largest
part of course hit the ground first.  Got back on the horse and rode to the
barn, but after that I think it was 2-3 weeks.  The fun part was driving
without sitting down...
I've managed to re-break it a couple other times, seems to take a couple weeks
though a lot of it seems to depend on how determined you are and how high of a
pain tolerence you have!
