manure and ttrails

A few days ago someone posted a note on RideCamp about bicyclists and hikers 
not liking horse manure on the trail.  You may be interested in one of the 
sessions scheduled for the Western States trail symposium on - manure and 
trails!!  It is May 21, 2000 at Sacramento.  It's being put together to 
preceed the Horse Expo, and the intent is to bring western states' 
equestrians together in the common interest of becoming advocates for 
continued trail access.
