Besides the Deb Bennett website, Cal Poly measured heights of different Parts in their foal crops for several years to find out the same thing---these were in Arabian horses of primarily CMK and Polish breeding. Below are the results for wither height for the colts (females were just a tad different, but not enough to really notice): Age in months/percent mature height: birth/61.3% 6/84.05% 12/90.78% 24/96.30% 36/98.12% 48/99.35% 60/100.0% The standard deviation was roughly between an inch and an inch and a half throughout, so of course there was some variation between individuals.
