Re: beet pulp
I sure talk to an awful lot of people about beet pulp, but your experience
is the first I've heard relating it to increased sweating. Might be that
for some reason he wasn't sweating *enough* before and now for some reason
is. In any event, check his rectal temp, and if that, recoveries, resting
heart rate, respiratory rate, etc are all okay, I wouldn't lose sleep over
it. :-)

his body is running hot. Recoverys are fine just alot of sweat. I have
owned him for 6 yrs usually as he gets fit he will sweat but then dry. He
doesn't seem to be doing that now. Some of my friends horses are doing the
same thing but they have used pulp for 2 years they don't see it they just
stay well its hot and humid. Anyone else with this expierence?? Please
advise I'm going on 100 mile ride in 2 weeks, were it should be cooler and
less humid.
