Re: Horse going off feed after a ride.
Lots of other horses and data from the ivory towers to agree with your
one-rat research, Ed/Wendy. You done right. It's a common mistake to
assume that because the horse isn't moving forward anymore, and the heart
rate is back below 60, he must be recovered. Takes awhile to restore
fluids, glycogen and other groceries. Day or three, depending on the level
of exertion. :-))))))
