Snow emergency -do Easyboots/Davis boots work?

 Hi - Just moved south to Va and it's been snowing ALOT.
The farriers in this area don't stock snow pads because 
normally they are not needed. My guys are wearing high heels
made from ice balls and there's more bad weather on the way.
Do Davis boots/Easyboots work as snowshoes? Please answer
fast 'cause there's ICE or snow predicted for this weekend.
And I haven't ridden in days and I'm getting cranky.
