Hay seized at Cal-Ore border

Hi All,

       A little heads up.  This A. M. a friend who is trailering from the 
Seattle area had her hay seized because of weed control concerns in by the 
State of California.  However a friend of hers crossed the state line with 
his trailer at the same place last night and was not questioned about or 
searched for his hay.   According to my friend'
s conversation with the state official the hay seizure policy has been in 
effect for about 6 months and about 2 tons on average is seized.  This is all 
I know for now.
