I've been at a few rides where the Ride Manager has advised at the pre-ride 
meeting  that the 100s get first preference at the vet checks, followed by 
the 50s and then the LDs.

I agree that it should be first come, first served; but then maybe there can 
be a problem getting enough vets for the ride.
