Black Arabians are *very* important!  Back in the 80's lots of rookie
breeders were breeding all their Arabs trying to make a huge profit.  As
a result there was a huge glut and prices were very low for consumers
like myself.  After going broke, most of them quit breeding.  Then, one
day somebody said, "Black Arabs are VERY valuable!!!" and all those same
people ran out and bred their horses trying to get black horses.  The
result.... lots of nice cheap chestnuts and greys! :-D
