clip attachment/Dallmer shoes

Just read my post and see that it doesn't make sense- the front straps
of these shoes criss-cross over the front of the hoof and buckle into
clips that come up from the shoe where side clips would normally be.
That's as much as I can remember after seeing them 1x.
