very sore front hoof

Mare is limping, holding right front hoof off the ground.  Vet found sign of 
abcess entry point - tip of hoof, under shoe area.  Could have been a 
loosinging up of the white line during the brief bout of mild lamintitis she 
had.  No pain in joints evidnet from exploratory touching by vet.  xray show 
nothing broken (thank goodness).  So far after four days of soaking twice a 
day in warm water and epsom salts, no change.

Have tried adding a big bandgage to keep the saoking going longer per Roxi.  
still nothing.

any suggestions?
